Bike fine, deposit returned instantly. Getting a reply before 10am was impossible — they open late and there is no point messaging early.
They let me swap from a Vario to a PCX on day two when I said my back hurt, no extra charge beyond the price difference. That kind of flexibility is why I would come back.
The scooter was the oldest one I rented in Vietnam and it showed, but it never let me down in two weeks. Owner is genuinely friendly and speaks decent English.
Month in An Thuong on a PCX. The idling stop is a small thing that makes a big difference in traffic — no engine noise or heat at every light. Hoa speaks little English but answers within minutes and the monthly rate was the best I found.
Two weeks, mostly commuting between An Thuong and the beach. Bike is fine and the free delivery to my building was genuinely free, no surprise fee at handover. Seat gets hard after about an hour, which is the honest downside.
