First time on any two wheels. Minh spent twenty minutes teaching me in the alley before letting me go, which I did not expect and really needed. The Vario is light enough that I never felt out of my depth. They took the deposit in cash and never asked for my passport, which made the whole thing feel a lot less risky.
Danang Moto Club
EastRide verifiedA ten-bike operation run by Minh, who has been renting to foreigners in An Thuong since 2019. Fleet is the newest we have verified in Da Nang, and he is the only operator in the city who runs a zero-deposit policy on scooters.

Bike was fine, deposit returned without a word. Delivery was the weak part — agreed on 9am, arrived past 10 with no message. Not a disaster, but I was standing outside the hotel with my bags.
CB300R is the sweet spot for Hai Van — light enough for the hairpins, enough torque not to feel stuck behind trucks. Deposit took two days to come back, they warned me in advance so no surprise.
Very comfortable for city riding, the seat is genuinely better than a Vario on long days. English in chat was basic but enough — we used photos when words failed.
Looks great, rides fine, but mine had a worn rear tyre and I only noticed on the second day in rain. They swapped it same day when I sent a photo, credit for that — still, check the tyres yourself before you sign.
Took the ADV for two weeks with my wife, went to Hoi An and Hue. Suspension handles the broken tarmac out of town far better than a normal scooter. Two-up with luggage it is genuinely comfortable.
Three months on an NMAX from Minh. Deposit in cash, passport stayed with me — that was the main reason I picked this one. Got the full amount back at the end. Bike never let me down, one service during the period, arranged in ten minutes over WhatsApp.
Honest review: the bike had a scratch on the fairing that was not in the handover photos, and it cost me an argument at return. They dropped the claim after I showed my own photos. Take pictures from every side before you ride off — that is the real lesson.
Cheap, light, does exactly what a city scooter should. Nothing exciting, nothing wrong. Helmet they gave me was decent, which is not a given here.
The 28-litre boot is the whole point. Two full-face helmets fit, which nothing else here manages. Rode to Hoi An and back most days, plus a run up Son Tra. Delivery was 20 minutes late but they messaged ahead.
Second time renting from them, that says most of it. Same bike as last trip, still clean, brakes felt properly serviced.
