Frequently asked questions

How much riding experience do I need for a tour?

Each tour lists a level and it is honest: “easy” routes take complete beginners - the guide teaches you on a training ground before the trail. “Medium” assumes you are comfortable with a clutch on loose surfaces. If you overstate your level, you will not enjoy the day and the group will wait for you - tell the guide the truth and he will pick the right route.

What if the group does not fill up?

Group tours can have a minimum size to run - ask about it when you apply if your date is tight. If a group does not fill by departure, operators typically offer a date change, a pricier private tour on the same route, or a refund, but confirm the exact rule with the operator before booking: it is their policy, not ours.

What should I bring on an enduro tour?

Closed shoes that you do not mind muddying (high boots are better and often provided), long trousers, a change of clothes for after, sunscreen and a litre of water. Helmet and protection come from the operator - it is listed in “included”. Leave the passport at the hotel: bring a copy. Phones survive better in a zipped pocket than in your hand on a trail.

How big is the group on the Da Lat enduro tour, and are there discounts?

Up to 6 riders, depending on how many bikes the operator has free that day - ask when you apply if the date matters to you. There is no discount for a second person in your booking. A 10% discount applies on your birthday and on the second consecutive day if you ride two days in a row.

What happens if it rains on the day of the Da Lat tour?

Rain moves the tour to another date - it is not cancelled. If you cancel the tour yourself for your own reasons, the prepayment is not refunded, the same rule as with any prepaid tour on the site.

What are the age and licence requirements for the Da Lat enduro tour?

From 18 years old. A licence is recommended but not critical - the route is mostly forest trail, not public road. There is no weight limit; the bike is matched to you on the day. The most powerful bikes on the list, like the Yamaha YZ250, go only to riders with real off-road experience.
